The CAF Minnesota Wing has been hosting the WWII themed dances since the early 1980's. This year they are working with local businesses such as Heimie's Habedashery in St Paul, and  Insight Brewing to give patrons a once in a lifetime look into the 1940's.

Anthony Andler, owner of Heimie's will be co-judging this year's costume contest which takes place during the second intermission. Those who dress up in WWII period dress have the chance to win a wonderful gift certificate from local vintage shops like Via's Vintage in Minneapolis.

The Roseville Big Band will be playing 1940's style Big Band museum and a free dance lesson will be given by Terry & Cindy Gardner of TC Swing from 7-8 pm. The lesson will give you an opportunity to try your hand at swing dancing.

The Minnesota State Fire Service Memorial Pipe band will also be there to play a few songs to honor veterans throughout the evening.

In addition to the music, dancing, and food, there will also be an engine run-up with the museum's historic WWII B-25. A sight you don't want to miss!

All proceeds to benefit the Commemorative Air Force Minnesota Wing and their WWII museum.
