CAF Airbase Arizona announced in 2024 Owensboro Air Show line up

OWENSBORO, Ky.- March 26, 2024 The 2024 Owensboro Air Show announced their line up for their Air Show on September 13 through 15. CAF Air Base Arizona's B-17 Flying Fortress and their B-25 Mitchell Bomber announced in the Air Show line up

The full lineup includes: Rob Holland, a 12-time national aerobatic champion The Wings of Blue Parachute Demo Team Redline Airshows the Northern Stars Aeroteam, a 3-ship Pitts Demo Team The KY Air National Guard with their C-130J Super Hercules Commemorative Air Force (CAF) – Arizona with their B-17 Flying Fortress and their B-25 Mitchell Bomber Army Aviation Heritage Sky Soldiers will bring their AH-1 Cobra and UH-1 Huey helicopters back to the show. Owensboro “Second Chance Extravaganza” aims to help expunge records for people with felonies

Officials say the CAF – Arizona team and the Sky Soldiers will offer paid rides in their aircraft throughout Air Show weekend. Owensboro Air Show activities will occur on Friday, September 13 at the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport, and on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15 in downtown Owensboro.

Public Events Director, Tim Ross, says this will be one of the biggest air shows we have ever had in Owensboro. "We are excited to showcase an amazing lineup of performers and aircraft to everyone this year. In addition to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels headlining the show again, we have Fat Albert with their team scheduled to fly this year. Joining the lineup will be the USAF Lighting II Demo Team to showcase the fifth generation stealth F-35A. We have an incredible line-up of civilian aerobatics, warbirds, and military aircraft. This show will be incredible!” said Public Events Director, Tim Ross.
