Missouri Wing

CAF Missouri Wing's B-25 Show Me recently had a paint job. The new Paint Job is Looking Fresh! Huge thanks to @johns360coatings for making our B-25 Show Me look like she just came off the factory assembly line! Now that the aircraft is back, everyone can’t wait to show off her new paint at some Midwest Airshows. You can follow her on FlightAware (N345TH). The Missouri Wing would like to thank Hangar 360 Aircraft Services, the wing members, and our supporters for helping preserve Missouri Wing’s B-25J Show Me. Photo by @prestonmonoc

Dallas/ Fort Worth Wing

The Dallas/ Fort Worth Wing had a special guest at their hangar in Lancaster, Texas. SSgt Maleya Neal chose to have her reenlistment ceremony into the Air Force Cyber Command at the Wing's hangar next to the R4D Ready 4 Duty. Capt. Mitchell flew in from Georgia to do the honors and administer the oath. Many CAF Colonel members were there to assist and observe the ceremony. Southern California Wing

The Southern California Wing welcomed World War II veteran Irvin Poff to their hangar in Camarillo, CA. Poff, who flew B-17s during the War, shared his story as part of the Hangar Talk series to an eager crowd. All were transfixed by the retellings of his combat missions and more! The Wing presented him and his family with a birthday cake as he turned 105 on April 25. Hangar talks, seminars, and flight demonstrations are held nearly every weekend at the Southern California Wing. You can learn more and see the schedule of events at https://www.cafsocal.com/. The Victory Ball

Once again, The annual Victory Ball produced by the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center (NAEC) culminated in an extraordinary evening celebrating aviation excellence and paying homage to industry pioneers. The event occurred on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Dallas Executive Airport, with an array of aviation enthusiasts, military veterans, industry leaders, and distinguished guests. Many of the guests dressed in World War II-era attire, which contributed to the "Step Back In Time" atmosphere of the event. Be sure to save the date for next year - April 5, 2025.
