Program Details and Terms

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) is excited to support non-profits that provide vital resources to veterans and their families. This initiative offers selected organizations a comprehensive advertising package to amplify their message and reach a broader audience . NOTE: This promotion aims to raise awareness of services and not solicit memberships or donations.

Veteran Service Non-Profits

Below are the detailed program specifics:

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this program, applicants must:
• Be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with verified tax-exempt status via the IRS Exempt Organizations Select Check tool.
• Be registered and in good standing in the state(s) where they operate.
• Serve veterans, active-duty service members, or their families by providing meaningful support, such as:
•Financial Assistance: Aid in managing expenses or accessing benefits.
• Emotional Support: Counseling, mental health services, or peer support programs.
• Career Training and Education: Resources for employment readiness, certification programs, or higher education.
• Family Services: Support for the loved ones of veterans, including housing assistance and community-building initiatives.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of impactful programs or services.


Advertising Package

Selected non-profits will receive a robust advertising package, including:
1. Website Feature: A dedicated article highlighting the non-profit’s mission, programs, and services on the CAF Headquarters website.
2. E-Newsletter Spotlight: Inclusion in the CAF’s "On The Fly" e-newsletter, distributed to CAF’s extensive subscriber base.
3. Social Media Post: A feature on one of the CAF’s official social media channels.
4. Print and Digital Ad: One quarter-page advertisement in the CAF Dispatch magazine, published both in print and digitally. Note: All content and images must be provided at least one month before the scheduled feature date. The CAF Marketing Team reserves the right to edit materials for clarity, space, or creative purposes.


Selection Process

A panel of CAF members will select five non-profits based on the following criteria:
• Alignment with CAF’s mission and goals.
• The scope and relevance of the organization’s services to veterans and their families.
• Demonstrated impact, including the number of individuals served and measurable outcomes.


Submission Guidelines

Non-profits must submit the following:
• A completed application form.
• A mission statement and overview of the organization.
• Descriptions of programs and services offered, with statistics or examples illustrating impact (e.g., the number of veterans served).
• Media assets, including images, cleared for commercial use.
• Annual reports or other documentation demonstrating financial transparency and compliance. All submissions should adhere to the stated deadlines and be sent to the CAF Media Team via form. Click here to submit your form.


Program Timeline

• Application Period: Open January 15, 2025, and close July 15, 2025. • Feature Schedule: Each non-profit will be assigned a feature date within the program year.
