General Staff Meeting Schedule
What is the General Staff?
The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) is governed by an eleven-member General Staff, which functions as the organization’s corporate Board of Directors. These volunteer leaders are elected by the membership to serve three-year terms, with a limit of two consecutive terms or a maximum of eight consecutive years, including any combination of elected or appointed service.
Guided by the Policy Governance model, the General Staff sets Executive Limitations for the CEO to ensure the organization remains mission-focused and operates within clearly defined boundaries. The General Staff meets at least five times each year to provide strategic oversight and uphold the values and direction of the CAF.
