Dixie Wing's WWII Heritage Days Postponed to Sept. 12-13
**PEACHTREE CITY, GA. (March 13, 2020) β **World War II Heritage Days, scheduled for May 2-3 at the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Dixie Wing Warbird Museum in Peachtree City, is being postponed until Sept. 12-13, 2020. Concern about COVID-19 is affecting all aspects of the economy, including public events, and the CAF Dixie Wing leadership has elected to postpone this annual event to avoid possible health risks.
βIt goes without saying that the CAF Dixie Wing is looking forward to celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the WWII Victory, but our priority is to do our part in keeping everyone healthy and safe, particularly our World War II veterans who have been invited as guests of honor, as well as our volunteers and our many members of the community in the affected groups,β said WWII Heritage Days Chair Chris Madrid.
Updated plans for WWII Heritage Days will be made available in the next few weeks.
