Online Event (April 1, 2026) In this moving episode of CAF Warbird Tube, filmmaker Zoë Lewin and writer-director Martin Hemingway-Moseley join us to discuss their award-winning short film A Memory Owed (2025), a powerful story that connects the perilous world of an RAF Bomber Command crew on a 1944 night mission with a present-day encounter between a 91-year-old veteran and his young caregiver at a retired WWII airfield. Inspired in part by Lewin’s family history, the film explores remembrance, loss, and the enduring emotional legacy of wartime service, while our guests share the creative vision, historical research, and personal motivations that brought this compelling aviation story to life.
