June 27, 2026 We are hosting an Open house at our hangar on the Stead Airport on Saturday June 27 . Starts at 10:30am until 1 pm or so. You can see our 1941 big Yellow Navy N3N biplane, a 1941 AT-6 that was used to train the Doolittle Raiders, and our War combat Veteran L-19 Birdog . You will be able to buy a ride in our Vietnam Era L-19 Birddog. We will be offering Airport tours for the entire family and hosting a hotdog and Hamburger BBQ for a $10 donation.
