Mission Membership
The CAF wants to reward you for the recruiting achievements through the years. The Lifetime Recruiting Achievement Program rewards all CAF Colonels that have recruited ten or more CAF Colonels since 2007. This will be an on going program to credit each of you for your efforts. Recruiting patches will be presented annually at Wing Staff Conference. Patches will be given to those who have recruited ten or more people. Members will receive a rocker patch for recruiting 25, 50, 100, and 150 members. These patches can be worn on CAF Flight Jackets, Uniform Shirts or CAF Flight Suits in place of the Member’s Shield Patch.
YOUR MISSION:
To ensure the future of the Commemorative Air Force by recruiting new CAF Colonels and Life Members of the CAF.
The Contest:
Only current CAF Colonels, Preservation Colonels and Life Members are eligible to earn recruiting credits. Credit is only awarded to those who recruit Colonels, Preservation Colonels and Life Members at regular dues. Active military, Bravo and Cadet Memberships do not apply. Cadets and Supporting Members are not eligible to participate in this contest. Must be 18 years or older to participate. Reinstated Colonels will only count if their membership has been inactive for one year prior.
Mission: Bravo (Previously Code Name Bravo)
All CAF units receive five (5) Bravo credits that allow new members to join the CAF as a Colonel for $100. These credits are great for recruiting new members with specific skill sets. If the unit is in need of a mechanic or an accountant, use the Bravo credit as an enticement and an opportunity for the new member to try out the CAF at a one-year discount. The Bravo discount is only available for the first year of membership, each renewal will be at the $200 rate. Only individuals that have not been a CAF member in the past year are eligible. Unit staff must submit written approval with the new member application to Headquarters. Bank draft is not available for discounted memberships.
Mission: Membership Awards *
• Tom Cloyd Memorial Recruiting Trophy- Presented to a large unit of 100 members or more.
• Tom Barnes Memorial Recruiting Trophy - Presented to a small unit of less than 100 members.
• Vic Agather Memorial Recruiting Trophy- Presented to the top individual recruiter.
• Charles Esterline Memorial Unit Retention Trophy- Presented to the top unit in new member retention.
