*¹Terms and conditions for CAF autorenew and monthly payment plans:
- Your enrollment in a monthly or annual payment plan for CAF Membership constitutes an agreement whereby the indicated dollar amount will be paid via debit card, credit card, or bank draft on the 5th day of the month your membership expires for annual autorenew memberships or the 8th day of each month for monthly subscription memberships. If enrolling in the monthly subscription plan between the 1st and the 8th of the month, your second payment will be drawn on the 8th of the month following enrollment.
- All membership payments are considered donations and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

- If a payment is not processed successfully, the Membership team will attempt to contact you by phone and by email. If contact is not established within 10 business days of payment failure, the CAF reserves the right to change membership to “Lapsed” status. If payment is not collected for the missing installments within 60 days of the initial failure, your membership in the CAF will be terminated. Your membership may be reinstated upon successful processing of payment. In order to maintain an uninterrupted term of service, you will need to pay any gap in membership payment, which is necessary for Unit and General Staff election eligibility.

- If you are a new CAF Colonel or are rejoining the CAF after your Colonel membership has lapsed for more than two months, you will be eligible to vote in General Staff and Unit elections only if you have been an Active CAF Colonel or above at least 30 days prior to the election. If you are an existing CAF Colonel that has switched to the annual autorenew program, you are eligible to vote in the next General Staff and Unit elections provided you have been a Colonel in good standing at least thirty days prior to the election. Additional guidance on eligibility for voting and holding office for Colonels and Preservation Colonels on payment plans is provided in Unit Manual, Section 2, found in the Colonel login area of the CAF website. Log-in instructions will be forthcoming for new CAF Preservation Colonels.
