Oktoberfest Fly-In
Saturday, October 5, 2024 — Oktoberfest Fly-In. 11am – 3:30pm at the Union County Airport, Marysville Ohio 760 Clymer Rd, Marysville, OH 43040. Come celebrate Oktoberfest pilot style at the Union County Airport in Marysville, Ohio for some authentic German traditions -- Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Curry Wurst, Hamburgers, Frankfurters, Potato Pancakes, Pretzel Bites, Sauerkraut, Potato Salad and deserts -- served up by “A Cut Above Schnitzel” food truck. The Historical Aircraft Squadron, Inc. from Lancaster will also be offering airplane rides: https://www.historicalaircraftsquadron.org/. Static displays and living history with the Ohio Army National Guard (artillery and Air Defense units) and the 801st Medical Air Evacuation Squadron (WWII living History). The Buckeye Wing of the Commemorative Air Force will have their 1943 WWII Fairchild PT-26, 1973 RAF Scottish Aviation Bulldog and 1960s Chinese Nanchang on static display Covered outdoor eating area and the capacity for up to 50 planes at a time to park on the ramp. We’ll even have German music playing and you might even catch a few people in traditional German outfits. Make a day of it! Warbird displays! Airplane rides! Great German food! Free Admission!
