Fly the Fortress and Friends in Denver, CO
On September 3, 2021, aviation history blasts out of the museums and into the skies as the Commemorative Air Force thunders into Denver Centennial, led by the CAF B-17 Flying Fortress Texas Raiders. Accompanying the big bomber will be the world's only flying SB2C Helldiver, along with two other vintage WWII aircraft, the SNJ Texan and JRB Expeditor.
The public is invited to enjoy onboard tours with the aircraft crews, or to take the ultimate Living History Flight Experience and see the Denver from the sky!
A limited number of flights are available on the warbirds. Flights on the B-17 start at $495; flights on the T6 are $380, seats on the Navy transport start at only $100, and the gunner seat of the Helldiver is $995.
Ground tours will be conducted from 1 PM to 3 PM Friday, September 3 and 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday through Thursday, excluding flying times. Admission to the event is $ 20 per adult collected by the museum.
