Fly the Fortress and Friends in Pueblo, CO
The iconic bomber Texas Raiders was the first Flying Fortress to be operated solely for the sake of education and use as a flying museum. She is an accurately restored B-17, bristling with machine guns and featuring period-specific equipment. Joining the bomber at Pueblo Memorial Airport will be two other vintage aircraft including the SNJ Texan trainer, and a twin-engine JRB Navy transport in which the whole family can fly together.
The public is invited to enjoy onboard tours with the aircraft crews during this event. Admission to the tour event is $10/adult, $5 for children under 12, and $20 for a family of up to 5. Tour times are 10AM to 3 PM Tuesday-Thursday.
A limited number of flights are available on the warbirds. Flights on the various aircraft range from $100 in the Navy transport to $380 in the advanced trainer. Flights in the B-17 start at $495.
