June 20, 2026Everything after 5pm is a rain or shine Saturday. BBQ will go on after 5pm Band will play around 6pm at ME62 Fireworks will happen around 9pm if the weather holds out. The Bent Propeller Club is open for entertaining with spill over into the south hangar where the band will be playing. We plan to set up a few tents for the outside space just in case. Wings of Freedom is our Annual Pre-4th of July Celebration. This year's event will be a fundraiser for the Commemorative Air Force New England Wing and MCCA. Fly ins are welcome and encouraged. The CAFNEW intended to bring their PT-23 to the Pittsfield Municipal Airport (2B7) and actively coordinate for others to join us. There will be a local based PT-17 flying as well. If you have a pre-war trainer and want to attend, please let us know! FREE to come and look at the field and planes, but after 5pm will be a donation for a wrist band for live music and fireworks.
