May 16-17, 2026 Not everyone can visit Airbase Arizona for an up-close and personal inspection of their historic warbirds. So this spring, they are taking their World War II planes to the public to fulfill the Commemorative Air Force mission of educating generations about the role of aviation in combat history. Airbase Georgia will be teaming up with Airbase Arizona at the Atlanta tour stop at the Dekalb-Peachtree Airport. Take advantage of the unique opportunity to fly the B-25 “Maid in the Shade”, the B-17 “Sentimental Journey”, or Airbase Georgia’s P-51, SBD, LT-6, T-34, or PT-19. Book your ride in Airbase Georgia’s planes at this link https://airbasegeorgia.org/event/flying-legends/
