Girls in Aviation Day 2026
October 3, 202 WAI-NTX will be hosting its Annual Girls in Aviation Day again this year! Join us on Saturday October 3rd at the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center from 9 AM to 2 PM. The FREE entry ticket includes aviation-themed activities, giveaways, and keynote speakers. Guests will have the opportunity to talk to women in various aviation and aerospace fields, including pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers, airport managers, business owners, and more.
Activities include flight simulators, build-a-helicopter, aviation phonetics, a scavenger hunt, and more! High school girls will enjoy a special program with advanced activities and career workshops.
Girls in Aviation Day backpacks, Aviation for Girls magazines, and other goodies will be available while supplies last. If you attended our event in years past, we encourage you to wear your Girls in Aviation Day T-shirt, or they will be available for a suggested $20 donation.
Space is limited for certain activities, including flight simulator slots. Passes will be available onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
