Veterans Reaching out to Veterans
November 11, 2026 The Bayou State Escadrille of the Commemorative Air Force has partnered with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, and the location sponsor, the Patriot RV Resort in Satsuma, Louisiana, to hold a Veterans Day Ceremony, November 11th, 2026.
The ceremony is for military, first responders, Veterans and their family and friends. The event is free. Food concessions will be made available by the facility host (a former U.S. Navy Pilot), Patriots RV Resort, and will be available throughout the day. The Bayou State Escadrille will offer rides in their 1949 Bell H-47 after the ceremony. Music throughout the afternoon will be provided by Veterans Pride and the band Crispytunes.
