CAF AIRBASE ARIZONA RELEASES 'FLYING LEGENDS OF VICTORY' TOUR DATES for 2025

Mesa, Ariz. (March 1, 2024) - It's finally arrived! CAF Airbase Arizona is thrilled to announce the Flying Legends of Victory Tour 2025 schedule. This exciting tour is Kicks off in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 29 and will round out in October with a final stop in Chino, California. Last year they swung through the Eastern U.S. so this year, it's the West's turn.

Each year, CAF Airbase Arizona takes its assigned airplanes to the public as part of the “Flying Legends of Victory Tour,” which starts in May and ends in September. The tour visits approximately 15 cities in the U.S. and sometimes Canada.

Please watch the skies when the B-25 Maid in the Shade and B-17 Sentimental Journey fly overhead to their next destination. Rides and tours in the aircraft are available but be sure to book your seat in advance because the seats sell out quickly.

The tour is made possible by volunteer members, who attend ground school in the spring and give up anywhere from one to three weeks at a time during their summer and/or fall to go on location with the airplanes. These volunteers put in long hours on-site, but they do so with smiles to bring joy—and history—to others. They answer questions, coordinate rides, give aircraft tours, and sell souvenirs, among other things. These volunteers have a passion for keeping history alive.
