Culpeper, VA (March 18, 2025)- Experience the thrill of flying an authentic World War II aircraft with the CAF Capital Wing’s Warbird Rides Program—returning for another unforgettable season from April to October. This is your opportunity to soar in up to five different World War II warbirds, each meticulously restored and maintained by dedicated volunteers.
From the robust TBM Avenger to the open-cockpit PT-19, these aircraft provide an unforgettable journey through living history. With flights ranging from $50 to $1,100, there’s something for every budget and every level of adventure.
In 2025, the Capital Wing will bring its Warbird Tour to states across the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, including Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, West Virginia, and Ohio. Whether at a major airshow or one of the Wing’s CAF Warbird Expo events, these appearances offer thousands the opportunity to see, hear, and fly in these legendary machines.
It’s time for the Mid-Atlantic to witness more warbirds in action—and there’s no better way to honor the Greatest Generation than by climbing aboard one of their iconic aircraft.
