Oshkosh, WI (July 15, 2026) – We're less than a week away from one of aviation's most anticipated events. With activities and exhibits for pilots, kids, aviation professionals, and enthusiasts, there's something for everyone at EAA AirVenture. The Commemorative Air Force's presence will be seen and felt throughout the festival, showcasing the people, aircraft, and stories from the greatest generation and beyond. Here are the top 10 CAF attractions you won't want to miss at this year's EAA AirVenture.

  1. A Tribute to Jimmy Stewart
    Monday, July 20 – The evening will begin with some very special guests offering an exclusive look behind the scenes at the upcoming film Jimmy, a biopic celebrating the life and accomplishments of Jimmy Stewart, a beloved actor and decorated military aviator.
  2. Visit CAF Warbirds on Display
    CAF aircraft will be located throughout the grounds, available for viewing and photography. From bombers to fighters, our volunteers are excited to share the history and craftsmanship of these remarkable aircraft.
  3. Take a Warbird Ride
    Make AirVenture unforgettable by booking a ride in a historic warbird. CAF aircraft will fly out of Appleton and Fond du Lac. Choose from the B-25 Maid in the Shade, P-51 Red Nose, T-34 AB, P-51 Gunfighter, and more.
  4. Watch the Warbirds of America Airshow
    See some of your favorite warbirds take to the skies in an incredible aerial demonstration. The Warbirds of America Airshow takes place Monday, July 20, through Saturday, July 25.
  5. CAF Warbird Tube — Live from Oshkosh

  6. Warbirds in Review: P-40 Warhawk
    On Monday, July 20, at 10 a.m., go behind the pilot's seat to learn about the iconic P-40 Warhawk and the legendary man who flew it, 2nd Lt. Curtis List. His daughter and former colleagues will share stories about his life, legacy, and what this remarkable warbird meant to him.
  7. Theater in the Woods: Mission Marge
    Join us on July 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Theater in the Woods for an evening of powerful live storytelling. Hear firsthand accounts from World War II pilots, gunners, descendants, and historians who bring aviation history to life.
  8. WomenVenture – Celebrating Aviation Innovation
    Join the annual gathering of women in aviation, with this year's focus on celebrating women involved in aircraft design, building, and testing. Meet pilots, crew members, and professionals who use aviation to protect and serve. Learn More:EAA WomenVenture.
  9. Watch EAA Live from AirVenture
    If you can't attend in person, catch the action from wherever you are. EAA's live stream features interviews, daily highlights, forums, and airshow coverage.
  10. Salute to Veterans Parade
    The annual Salute to Veterans Parade takes place on Friday. All veterans attending AirVenture are invited to gather at the Warbirds in Review ramp at 12:30 p.m. for this special patriotic tribute.
